On September 30th during a visit to Perttula, I searched for micrometeorites by help of a magnet. There were five magnetic pieces which fixed to my megnet within an area of half square meter. No more megnetic objects in the area around. The biggest piece is about one cm., and it seems to me that they all are of the same origin. I have pictures of the pieces enlarged 50 X. As far as I have learned, there have been no mining activity in that area. The approximate position, +- 400 meters, read with my GPS is N 60.26.779 E 024.30.657. The locality is where a forest road is joining the highway leading to Hangö. Could these pieces possibly relata to a meteorite downfall near by?
